We ask that you arrive 10 minutes prior to class so the instructor can lead you through bike set up. Each athlete will have their own pair of Sound Off™ headphones so they don’t miss a single cue. Performance balanced with strength. This class will get your heart pumping with an energetic ride through sprints, drills, & climbs. During the ride we will incorporate intervals off the bike and build strength in you shoulders, back, arms and core utilizing weights, bands and more. Combine a calorie torching Cycling class with an attack on the entire midsection. A 30 minute ride working your legs and core muscles building definition, while improving your cardiovascular range. Sound Off™ produces a wide variety of events with wireless headphone technology. Their wireless headsets let each athlete control their own volume and tune in to the instructor’s audio channel. Their wireless headphone technology helps us create captivating classes that can only be heard through their noise-isolating LED headphones.
The cycling program at the Riv has been a fun addition to my fitness routine. It challenges my cardio, endurance, and strength capacity. Since I have been cycling regularly, I've noticed that I can hang better with running and burpees in crossfit WODs, and it's a great calorie burn if that's what you're looking for! Each class is different and the instructors take great care in choreographing upbeat tracks to keep you pedaling to the max the entire time. Whether you want to cycle exclusively, or add it to your existing routine, I highly recommend the Riv's cycling program!

STEP 1. Buy class credits or full membership
STEP 2. Reserve a class.
All classes open for reservations on Mondays at 1pm EST. At this time, you can register for any class in the upcoming week (Tuesday through the following Monday). We recommend using our online reservation system through Triib, but you can always drop by or call the studio and a RIV team member will be happy to assist you.
STEP 3. Reserve a bike.
Once you confirm your reservation, a class credit is subtracted from your account for each class and/or bike. You will receive an email confirming your purchase.
Can I join a waitlist?
Each class has room for 20 riders. If a class you’d like to attend is full, you’re free to sign up on our waitlist – however, you must have the appropriate number of credits in order to do so. If an opening becomes available, you will receive an email from us. If you’re available, you will automatically be assigned to the class. If you can no longer attend, simply remove yourself from the waitlist online right up until class start time.
How do I cancel a reservation?
Click on the “Cancel” link next to your reservation under the “My Classes” tab of your Account profile. Once you complete the cancellation, your account will be credited for that class and you will receive an email confirmation. Reservations must be cancelled 24 hours prior to the class or you will be charged.
Unlimited members will be charged $15 if they don’t cancel before that 24 hour period.
What time should I arrive for class?
You will need to arrive at least 10 minutes before class to sign up for your bike number, make sure you have water, set up your bike and start moving.
